The story (which includes some violent scenes) tells of a group of young Parisian men who are drawn into following a psychopathic French Islamic convert, home after training with al-Qaida. Sam, a journalist, who speaks Arabic and knows the Qur’an infiltrates the group. Christophe, from a bourgeois Breton family, who insists on being called Yassin, is another convert and the most fanatical. When they receive orders to place a car bomb on the Champs Elysées, the two Muslim youths express doubts about killing women and children. But by then it is too late to back out.
