The Musical Storytellers bring well-known classical music, and the story of that music, to young audiences. With inventive, innovative and humerous presentation, children (and adults) will be entranced and entertained as they listen to the music and stories. Both educational and fun, these programmes offer an enjoyable introduction to a range of music, and numerous cross-curricular opportunities for follow-ups – drawing and colouring, creative writing, poetry, music, dance and story-telling.

Each show lasts about 30 minutes and the repertoire currently includes: Ferdinand the Bull, Peer Gynt, Carnival of the Animals, Pictures at an Exhibition, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and more.

Shulah Oliver – Violin

Chris Jaeger MBE – Narrator

He now writes and tours small-scale theatre shows all around the country and is also the Director of the Worcester Festival.

Janine Parsons – Piano
