Animal and Wildlife Artist :

Eric is a self-taught Artist from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire having originally trained and worked as a Designer in the Automobile industry.
He has become well known for his sympathetic detailed portraits of Animals, Wildlife and Birds, spending time watching and studying in the natural habitat for detail.
He started drawing commissions in 1985 alongside working on his smallholding with a large selection of Farm Animals whilst also successfully Showing, Judging and
Breeding English Setters.
With a steady increase in commissions became a full time Professional Artist in 1994 and started his Art Studio and has since sold commissions throughout Europe, South
Africa, America and Australia.
His Commissions has been published in Limited Edition Prints, Cards, Enamels, Fabrics, Tiles and Bone China.
Eric likes to utilize light and shadow using a unique and bold combination of Pastels, Pencil, Acrylic, Gouache and Watercolour to build up from a base to a finished creation
of stunning detail.
Art classes have been available since 2007 and have now grown to 5 workshops having over 50 members including a number of Art teachers at schools. These run
every week and are available to anyone who would like to have a go at painting and drawing or for those wishing to further improve upon their skills.
Art workshops are planned for 2019 and will be running from the last Sunday of each month and will include: Animals in pastel / mixed medium, Pencil drawing, White on
Black, Macro work using microscopes, Movement, Light and Dark, Outside Field Work. From 1994 Eric has been giving Art demonstrations in his own unique style of painting
and drawing. These are available to book. He is an accredited demonstrator with Art Profile.
