A comic romp through the joys and pitfalls of internet dating for ‘mature’ people.
Two years since Hannah’s marriage break-up, and she’s on the lookout for a new man. Encouraged by her daughter Ellie, Hannah tries an internet dating site for mature people, called click. com. A series of unsuitable, often absurd dates leaves her doubting the value of such sites; and her friend Sarah, from the contrasting security of a long and happy marriage to Peter, also warns her of their supposed dangers.
Hannah perseveres, and a remarkable coincidence leads to a promising friendship with Harvey, a fellow singer in the local choir. Unable to contain her enthusiasm, Hannah tells Sarah about her and Harvey. But how much does she really know about him? And is he the right man for her? The story unravels in a hilarious scene at the local pub, where female cunning leaves Harvey facing a strange dilemma.
