A Russian themed traditional Christmas story adapted for pantomime by Kirsty Cubberley

MOTHER CHRISTMAS is the tale of Babushka and how she escapes her dreary, weary life of drudgery working for the constantly demanding Baron to find her Christmas spirit. She meets royalty and friendship, love and the gift of Christmas as she travels across Russia.

There are chases and thrills as the story weaves its way, following in the footsteps of the majesties.

At Christmas our graduating actors tour pantomimes to our local primary schools, as a cultural offering to our community. This year we want to extend our community reach beyond London and bring our Christmas spirit to the residents of Worcestershire. Our new pantomime, Mother Christmas is written and directed by Kirsty Cubberley who grew up in Worcestershire before training and working as an actor/director.

This is an exciting venture for DSL!  We hope to build a relationship with the community of Malvern, in particular, aspiring  young actors who may wish to pursue professional acting training.
